Here is a pic of my very first quilt top it is the rail fence pattern with only 3 strips and makes it look like a stair step I had such a great time piecing this top. waiting for the quilting frames to get in so I can get this finished.

One of my first quilts was a version of this Rail Fence block I did as a baby quilt for my nephew Ethan. I just used two different fabrics and finished it off with in-the-ditch stitching.
