Wow Kacie! That is a beautiful quilt. I haven't seen a log cabin like that before. Beautiful!

This is my first quilt! I made it for my parents for Christmas 2004. All of the Log Cabin blocks are the same, but they're turned so that four blocks create a pinwheel. I did in-the-ditch hand-stitching to finish it off. I loaded up a set of pictures to my Flickr account if you want to see more detailed shots: http://www.flickr.com/photos/pdskacie/sets/72157607650163647/

Thank you so much for finding me on Flickr and adding me to this wonderful website, I am now registered and will definitely be posting more photos and comments. This was my first attempt at quilting and was told by numerous people that this is the simpliest design and they were right! Next week I will try my hand at free form quilting on this one.

This bright and happy lap-sized quilt top from Kimberly3.14's Flickr photo stream (http://www.flickr.com/photos/photographybykim/2559110236/) shows one of many creative ways you can arrange the simple Log Cabin blocks. I can't wait to see how she quilts it!
