Thank you, Kim!! He won't be able to use it for sleeping for a few more months yet, but we'll make sure it still gets used for playtime now so it's nice and broken in when he can snuggle up in it to sleep! :o)

I love it!!! Does Luke get to use the blanket or is it for looks?

Here's my latest completed quilt! I made this one for my son Luke who is now three months old. I used the Flock block and did hand-quilting perpendicular to the seams in each block, so the final result is sort-of a wavy block pattern. For more pictures and to find out why I'm calling this my most ambitious project yet, check out my post on the Quiltivate.com blog: http://blog.quiltivate.com/main/2009/03/flock-quilt-finished.html

This spectacular Flock quilt from mamaflavored's Flickr photos just goes to show how such a simple block can be created with the right fabrics and arrangements to create an incredible masterpiece: http://flickr.com/photos/56058041@N00/2584259338/in/photostream/!
